Travels in the USA

I have worked in the States numerous times over the years on different documentary projects and have travelled across it in various directions, once overland from New York to the Mexican border and beyond in to South America and Argentina for a cinema documentary. That particular trip was a gruelling six weeks, but I was able to see a whole lot of the country I wouldn’t necessarily have ever chosen to visit as we passed through New York state, Washington, Virginia, Arkansas, Tennessee and Texas, before crossing over in to Mexico.

The United States is vast and I while I have now been lucky to have seen a fairly decent chunk of it, I’ve really only dipped my toe in. There’s a lot of the world I’d still like to experience, so perhaps right now the USA isn’t high up my list of places to visit again soon, but when it feels once again a more welcoming place, maybe I’ll go back.
